OUTSTANDING PERSONALITIES OF PEDAGOGICAL SCIENCE G. N. VOLKOV, L. A. TSVETKOV, AND V. G. RAZUMOVSKII

Abstract

The article reveals the contribution to pedagogy of three outstanding domestic scientists in the field of pedagogy: the ethno-educator Gennady Nikandrovich Volkov (1927-2010), the methodologist-chemist Leonid Aleksandrovich Tsvetkov (1909-1993) and the methodologist-physicist Vasilii Grigor'evich Razumovskii (1930-2017). The basic facts of their biographies are shown; the contribution of each of the scientists to the development of pedagogical science and the training of scientific and pedagogical personnel is described. In the work, the author refers to the main works of the scientists, for instance, “Ethno-pedagogy of the Chuvash People” by G. N. Volkov, “Organic Chemistry” by L. A. Tsvetkov, “The Development of Students’ Creative Abilities in the Process of Teaching Physics” by V. G. Razumovskii, etc. The active international relations of the characterized scientists are also noted: they worked in foreign higher education establishments, took part in international conferences, trained foreign post-graduate students, and published their materials abroad.
