Creating English Learning Board Game for Senior Pre-schoolers “Treasure Hunt” on the Basis of Iterative Approach

Abstract

The paper aims to reveal the essence of the iterative approach to game creation, to describe the technology of creating the English learning board game for senior pre-schoolers. The article examines the existing approaches to game creation, identifies specificity of the iterative approach, and reveals its conceptual foundations. Scientific originality of the study involves developing methodological recommendations on the use of the iterative approach to creating a language learning game for pre-schoolers. The research findings are as follows: the author presents the English learning board game “Treasure Hunt” aimed to develop senior pre-schoolers’ English-language speech skills.
