A model for the formation of successful learning among foreign citizens in the socio-cultural environment of the pre-university courses of a classical university

Abstract

The research aims to develop the structure and content of a model for the formation of successful learning among foreign citizens in the socio-cultural environment of the pre-university courses of a classical university as the first stage of university education for foreign citizens. The article provides a substantive clarification of the concept of “successful learning of foreign citizens”, presents the original model for the formation of successful learning among foreign citizens in the socio-cultural environment of the pre-university courses of a classical university. The scientific novelty of the research lies in defining principles for modeling the educational process focused on the formation of successful learning (balance of success components, dynamism and openness, predictability and measurability, personalization). In addition, the work provides theoretical substantiation and develops the model for the formation of successful learning among foreign citizens in the socio-cultural environment of the pre-university courses of a classical university. In contrast to existing approaches and models that focus primarily on language training or socio-cultural adaptation, the proposed model integrates academic achievements, indicators of socio-cultural adaptation, as well as motivational and personal indicators, providing a comprehensive impact on the adaptation and learning process of foreign students. The model includes four blocks in its structure: academic, socio-cultural, a block for studying Russian as a foreign language, and a block for personalized support strategies for foreign students.
