DISTANT COMPONENT IN TEACHING GERMAN TO CORRESPONDENCE STUDENTS OF PEDAGOGICAL SPECIALITIES

Abstract

The article discusses the experience of using a Moodle online course in teaching German to correspondence students of pedagogical specialities. The proposed set of exercises allows efficient organization of correspondence students’ unsupervised work in the inter-session period and serves as an additional motivational factor for them. The paper provides recommendations concerning the module structure and potential of a Moodle course for developing students’ foreign-language communicative competence within the framework of their unsupervised work.
